GYEON Q2 RIM COATING (30ml Kit)

Gyeon Q2 Rim Coat is an advanced SiO2 quartz coating that offers high levels of protection, durability and a high temperature resistance of up to 350°C.

An ideal product for protecting wheels, brake calipers, exhaust boxes and tips. As a result Gyeon Q2 Rim being applied the surface of the wheel naturally becomes extremely hydrophobic, meaning water rapidly beads off the surface, offering superior self cleaning capabilities as it reduces the ability of brake dust and road grime bonding to the surface. Gyeon Q2 Rim should perform in excess of 12 months through routine maintenance.

From our experience,

Gyeon Q2 Rim is a hugely popular bolt on package for clients here in the studio, making wheel maintenance less of chore. As with all coatings preparation is key, remove all rims from the vehicle, starting a decontamination process to wheel faces and backs using Gyeon Q2M Iron & Q2M Tar. Allow to dry and begin coating in sections, buff off remaining residue once your area has started to set and once fully completed apply a second layer for maximum performance and durability. For intricate wheels the sued applicator can be challenging, we find the Gyeon Q2M Microfibre Applicator Pad speeds up this process and allows better access , and is also suitable for all painted brake calipers and exhaust sections/tips. Allow for a final wipe down with Gyeon Q2M Cure to assist with the curing process.
